How do I make hotel reservations?
For a special Convention rate, please use the link below to make reservations with the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront as a guest of Delta Sigma Phi.

Are special rates available on airfare?
For Convention 2017, our preferred airlines are Southwest and Delta.

Delta reservations and ticketing are available online or by calling Delta Meeting Network Reservations at 800.328.1111. When booking online, enter our Convention Meeting Code (NMQ8E) in the box provided. You can also enter the Delta Sigma Phi Sky Bonus Miles code (US0019583) when prompted.

Beginning April 15, Convention attendees can receive a discount and bonus Rapid Reward points from Southwest Airlines. Take advantage of an 8% discount on Anytime or Business Select fares, and a 2% discount on select Wanna Get Away fares for travel to and from the conference. Book your flight between April 15 & June 20 to take advantage of the discounted rates. Discounts are available for travel July 4, 2017 through July 11, 2017.

Does the hotel offer parking?
Hotel Parking is available for our guests.
  • On-site Garage: $8.50 hourly, $26 daily
  • Valet Parking: $45 daily
Note: the parking garage does not accommodate oversized vehicles; the height clearance is 6 feet 8 inches.
What should I pack?
We suggest bringing your membership badge, your fez if you have previously attended convention, and the proper attire. Please visit our Attire page, for a breakdown of suggested clothing.
Are my meals included in registration?
Some meals are included in Full or Daily Pass registration costs. These meals include:
  • Thursday: Reception (hors d'oeuvres)
  • Friday: Breakfast
  • Friday: Lunch
  • Friday: Live Auction Dinner (hors d'oevres)
  • Saturday: Awards Banquet Dinner
  • Sunday: Breakfast
  • Sunday: Closing Event Dinner
What is required of me as an attendee?
Chapter delegates are asked to participate in membership meetings and cast votes on behalf of their chapter. Alumni in attendance, who are representing their ACB or serve as a chapter advisor, may also cast votes.

Will there be a community service event?
Yes! We will be assisting the Red Cross of Baltimore, by packing ice bags that will be used to keep products at the proper temperature. These events must be selected during your registration, and preference is on a first-come basis; space is limited. The two events take place from noon to 4:00 pm on Thursday, July 6, and 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Saturday, July 8.
When and where is the Convention?
Convention will run from July 6th to July 9th in Baltimore, Maryland. The event will be hosted at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. To view the hotel on Google Maps, click below.

When should I arrive/depart?
Event registration begins at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 6, and runs through 7:00 pm. The Opening Reception for all attendees will begin at 7:00 pm on Thursday.

We suggest that attendees plan to leave on Monday, July 10. Our closing event at Power Plant Live will run late into the evening on Sunday, July 9. Of course, attendees are welcome to stay in Baltimore as long as they'd like; just make sure you make an extended reservation for your hotel room!
How do I get to the hotel?

Are my travel expenses covered?
We do not cover travel expensese. However, chapter representatives may use their Chapter Leadership Fund to cover the cost of travel and registration. For fund-related questions, please contact Nathan Wight (wight@deltasig.org) and/or Carol Arenstein (arenstein@deltasig.org).
Is there free-time during the Convention?
Yes! On Saturday, July 8, free time is blocked from noon to 5:00pm. Plan to explore and enjoy the city or just hang out with your brothers. Check out the full schedule for an overview of our time in Baltimore.

Can I bring a guest to convention?
Yes! Guests can attend and participate in most of the Convention events, but there are Member-only sessions that guests may not be able to attend.

The deadline for Convention awards is June 1, 2017. Be sure to read up on all the available awards and make your nominations before the deadline!
