If I want to participate in Pilgrim’s Degree, how do I order a fez?
When and where can I register?
Convention registration is available online, as of February 2023. You can visit the Convention registration webpage at any time to get signed up.
When is the Convention?
Delta Sigma Phi's 2023 Convention will start on Thursday, July 20 and concludes Saturday, July 22.
When should I arrive & depart?
You can arrive to—and depart from—Austin whenever you'd like, but here are a few things to keep in mind:
How do I get to the hotel from the airport?
You have several options when commuting between the airport and our hotel, but Lyft and Uber are the most cost effective mode of transportations to get to and from the airport. Check out the Travel page for additional info.
What should I pack? Is there a dress code?
We suggest bringing your membership badge, your fez (if you already have one) and the proper clothing, as outlined on our Attire page. Don't forget your running shoes and activewear, if you plan to work out or compete in the Gordian Knot 5k Trot!

May I bring a guest or child to convention?
Absolutely! Guests can attend and participate in most of the Convention events, but there are several member-only sessions. To compliment those sessions, we also offer spouse/guest events, several of which require pre-registration and a few that are meant for families with children. If I want to participate in Pilgrim’s Degree, how do I order a fez?
Worn only by members who have achieved the Pilgrim Degree, the Fez is the mark of a Delta Sig who has completed the fraternity ritual in its entirety. If you want to pick up your fez after completing the Pilgrim Degree at Convention, you must register & order it by June 1. How do I register as a voting delegate?
Members and volunteers who are representing a chapter, association, or board as an officer, or who serve as a chapter advisor or national-level volunteer, can apply for delegate certification. You can review section 7.2 of the constiution for additional info on eligibility requirements and vote allocations.
Once you know which entity you will be representing, visit your Attendee Hub and log in if needed, then click the Delegate Certification tab and complete the form for your role. Depending on which entity you're representing and your role (or lack thereof), additional verification steps might be required. If necessary, current officers will receive automated emails, allowing them to approve your certification request. Please contact headquarters if you have questions.
Is there free time during Convention?
Yes! There are a number of Free Time blocks on our Convention schedule. Plan to explore and enjoy the city of Austin, or just relax with your brothers—it's up to you!
What is the Gordian Knot sticker program?
Our Gordian Knot stickers help you recognize and honor your brothers while supporting the Delta Sigma Phi Foundation. Throughout Convention, each gift of $5 to the Foundation will purchase a Gordian Knot sticker for you to honor those who have made an impact on you, your Delta Sig experience and your life.
Stickers are available now for $5.00 / sticker, or you can grab a pack of 5 stickers for $20. They will also be available at the Foundation table during convention. These stickers can then be displayed on an attendee nametag to show your support for the Delta Sig Foundation. Make a Sticker Gift
